MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION OBJECTIVES

To keep pace with the semiconductor industry's accelerating rate of change, Microchip Technology sought to expand its Tempe fabrication and test facility. The facility produces, sorts, and tests 8-inch semiconductor wafers.

PIPING SYSTEMS SOLUTIONS

UMEC (AZ) installed high-purity piping, process piping, and process exhaust for the client’s Class 10 fabrication modules. Throughout this project, UMEC (AZ) worked inside the fully operational fabrication facility.
