MECHANICAL COORDINATION SCOPE OF WORK
A mechanical coordinator from UMEC’s Phoenix Division provided administrative and technical support services for this project. These included helping the general contractor coordinate with a local mechanical subcontractor on the installation of HVAC and plumbing systems.

With more than 20 facilities in the United States, Mexico, Canada, South America, and Europe, Oxford Automotive is a major supplier to automotive manufacturers throughout the world.
OBJECTIVES
To complete a 325,000 square-foot auto stamping and assembly facility on time and within budget. The facility houses a 140,000 square-foot stamping area with a 72-foot clearance to accommodate 32 presses and six overhead cranes. A rail spur used to transport coiled steel runs into the building’s stamping area. The plant also features a 160,000 square-foot assembly area, an electrical substation, and office space.
